The IRTG supported all affiliated PhD students in their research. By combining an academic qualification programme and supervision with the essential academic freedoms, the IRTG ensured that all PhD students successfully completed their projects. During their time at the CRC, our aim was to support the PhD students’ engagement with the CRC’s senior members. The IRTG also introduced its members to a wide variety of career options both inside and outside academia.
